About Antigone in their own words
Put together after a string of jam sessions in the auditorium of the University of Florida, Antigone presents itself as the new cutting edge of Jazz in the United States. The keyboardist Tobias Elverum and his long time collaborators bring to the forefront of the music scene elegant and thought provoking compositions as well as breathtaking improvisation skills. Referred to as "The creators of the next standards for the 21rst Century" by Jazz Times Magazine, Antigone is always prepared to go further beyond.
