About The Rust Belt Prophets in their own words
Five guys and one Hammond organ, all older than they should be. The Rust Belt Prophets formed outside a Memphis pawn shop in '09, arguing over a busted amp. Never stopped arguing, never stopped playing. Their sound is factory-floor blues — dirty, loud, unhurried. Otis Reyner sings like his throat owes someone money. They've played funerals and dive bars with the same energy. No hits, just truth. Rumor has it the pawn shop still owes them that amp.
