About The Headz in their own words

Six people, one fault line running straight through their rehearsal room. The Headz formed after a Wellington earthquake shook a pub mid-gig and nobody stopped playing. Took it as a sign. Their sound is big, cracked, and a little dangerous — riffs like tremors, choruses like aftershocks. Kahu's percussion was originally just banging on pipes; they kept it. They've never finished a soundcheck without an argument or an encore. Ground's still moving.
