REN AIZAWA

Tokyo-born Ren Aizawa is an emerging J-pop artist, songwriter and producer carving out his own space in Japan’s contemporary music scene. A gifted vocalist and dancer, Ren began performing in his teens, initially attracting attention through Tokyo’s live-house circuit before working as a backing dancer and session vocalist for other artists. Alongside music, he has also dabbled in modelling and fashion work. Ren’s sound explores the darker edges of J-pop, blending atmospheric pop, alternative R&B and electronic influences with emotionally charged songwriting. A multi-instrumentalist who plays guitar, bass and piano, he takes an active role in shaping every aspect of his music, from writing and arranging to production. Now stepping into the spotlight as a solo artist, Ren is currently in the studio developing material for his highly anticipated debut releases.
