About Waxed in their own words

Waxed write love songs like they're describing jewelry. Formed in Rio with a shared obsession for gloss over grit, they layer bossa nova smoothness with orchestral flourishes nobody asked for but everyone wants. Larissa's voice sounds expensive; the strings agree. They dress like there shows are already sold out. Every song ends like a toast — champagne, not confetti.
