The Weekday Saints ★

The Weekday Saints rehearse on Tuesday nights because that's when everyone's off. Rosie patches up scraped knees at a Bristol primary school by day, sings about heartbreak by night. Ollie rewires houses, then rewires chord progressions. Priya files paperwork for a solicitor's office and drums like she's filing complaints. Tom delivers takeaway between gigs — sometimes to people who saw him play the week before. Faye pulls espresso shots and writes lyrics on the backs of receipts. Nobody's quitting their day job; the music was never meant to pay rent, just to matter. Their songs sound like commutes, overtime, and the five good minutes before bed. Unglamorous, unbothered, unmistakably real.
