About Black Soil in their own words
Black Soil build house tracks out of blackout schedules and defiant basements. Formed in Kyiv, they named themselves after the country's fertile ground (Чорна Земля / Chorna Zemlya) — something to hold onto when everything else feels uncertain. Sofiya's vocals drift somewhere between lullaby and warning; the drops hit like something refusing to quit. They've played sets by generator power more than once. Nobody dances lightly here. Every track feels like it's daring you to keep going.
