UPDATE ON MAX
As previously confirmed on this official website we told you all that Max was taken to hospital suffering from exhaustion and muscle weakness, we also confirmed that he will be out for the rest of the tour, we can now confirm that Max won't be featuring at any point in this current tour, He is expected to stay in hospital for another 4 days while they monitor him and make sure he is in a good enough shape to return home.
He will then continue to gradually get himself back to normal but this will however take a large amount of time for him, first of all he won't be able to do anything for the first two weeks of returning home and after the two weeks he will begin light fitness work to regain his muscle strength, so he should be back to acceptable levels of fitness around late October, obviously he can't do too much too soon so the doctors advised him to not take part in any areas of the tour.
Also the 4th Street Band's 1st studio album will be pushed back upto December or even the new year so that's bad news but it's for the best interest of Max and the band and as your aware Max will become a father around April/May 2011 so a 2011 tour won't be happening as he takes time out to become a parent.
More news when we get it.

Hey guys!
I was talking with Max today and he suggested I talk to you about doing a 2011 tour with you guys. Frost & The 4 Street Band sorta deal. I am huge fans of yours and after the October show I think you will see that, lol! What do you guys think?

I did announce my retirement but it's more like extended vacation into the film industry. So I can ease off my drug and alcohol habit. I think when 2011 comes I will be fresh and anew.

Robin Krieger: Fuck yeah man, I'll talk with the rest of the guys but I can confidently say that this will happen, I know the rest of the band are up for it, so yeah. We'll have fun on tour I'm sure and you don't have to worry about being around drugs or anything like that, we've been clean for a couple of years now, I can't say the same about alcohol but we don't go over the top. I can't wait to meet up with you for this tour and we could be an incredible band with you as frontman, I think we can definitely have a future with a Jack Frost and The 4th Street Band thing, obviously it's not the end of Max's time as frontman, I'm sure he'll be fronting the band and we'll be touring again in another 4-5 years, he is after all the main man, the boss.

HEAVEN JUST GOT A WHOLE LOT BETTER

THE 4TH STREET BAND WILL NO LONGER BE CONTINUING TO PERFORM TOGETHER DUE TO RECENT EVENTS, WE ALL HOPE YOU'LL UNDERSTAND THAT WE JUST DON'T FEEL IT IS RIGHT TO CONTINUE ON TOGETHER WITHOUT THE TWO PEOPLE WHO CREATED THE BAND.
WE ARE CURRENTLY ON OUR WAY TO VISIT JULIETTE MOORE AND HELP HER THROUGH THIS DIFFICULT TIME, WE APPRECIATE IT IF YOU CAN GIVE MAX AND LUCY'S FAMILY TIME TO HEAL, THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME AND THANK YOU TO MAX AND LUCY FOR OUR INCREDIBLE MEMORIES TOGETHER, LEGENDS LIVE ON AND TODAY THIS PROVES MORE TRUE THAN EVER BEFORE, WE WILL LOVE YOU BOTH FOREVER AND WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH. HOPEFULLY WE'LL MEET AGAIN SOMEDAY.

My heart is aching with this news. I never got to apologies to Max about leaving the tour. I never got to thank him for his help with my struggles. I think we should put on a benefit concert for Max and Lucy. For now on I will dedicate all my efforts in honoring Max & Lucy's and his legacy.

"The support for Max and Lucy has been incredible and they'd have been so suprised at the reaction and impact they had on music. I have some sort of light relief for fans who I'm sure are still grieving this dreadfull loss. Max was an incredibly hard worker and having visited his office at 4th Street Studio's we have come across massive amounts of material and a lot of it has been recorded by Max. So we plan to honour Max with releases of his previously unheard material.
Also some of you may know that 4th Street Band had recorded their first studio album a couple of months ago and we have decided that this will finally see the light of day and Max's long awaited debut album My Time Now was completed 1 week before he passed, so over the coming months we should be releasing a number of music from both Max and Lucy. Thank you for the support you have shown us to our greatest friends and I also thank you for the support you have given to the families of Max and Lucy and especially the support and kind words you have shown to Juliette, she has been struggling but you can help her with you words."

THE 4TH STREET BAND CAN TODAY CONFIRM SOME BIG NEWS COMING SOON, THE BAND DECIDED TO CALL IT A DAY AFTER THE DEATH OF MAX AND LUCY BUT AFTER SPEAKING WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY OF THE TWO CREATORS OF THE BAND THEY HAVE DECIDED THAT THE BEST WAY TO HONOUR WHAT MAX AND LUCY CREATED WOULD BE TO CONTINUE IT IN THE BEST WAY POSSIBLE, SO HERE ARE SOME THINGS PLANNED:

> 1st Studio Album [Set for Release in December - Download Only - CD released in 2011]
> Collaboration Album [To be released in 2011 along with CD version of Debut Album]

SO THEY ARE LOOKING FOR VOCALISTS AND MUSICAINS TO TAKE PART IN THE COLLABORATION ALBUM, IN A SIMILAR VEIN TO THE BARDS ALLIES COLLECTIONS. IF YOUR INTERESTED PLEASE CONTACT THE 4TH STREET BAND'S OFFICIAL WEBSITE OR EMAIL THEM (OOC: PM).

People are still reeling over the death of Max, and I'm one of them. 'Building a Dream' seems like it'll be a very fitting tribute to a musical legend, and I'm anxious to start listening to the album.

-Eric Quillington
Kid Anything- Indie/Britpop/Shoegaze; influenced by Sigur Ros, XXYYXX, Kanye West, Blur, Oasis

(Bringing together an eclectic group of influences, Ulysses' songs are sung with carefree abandon by Nick Junk)

Kurt Ulysses - Songwriter, Guitarist, Backup Vocalist
Nick Junk - Vocals, Mojo

Infinite- Alternative/Experimental Rock; influenced by Muse, Radiohead, and The Beatles

(Known best for their experimental music and their frontman's eccentric behavior, the band disbanded after Eric Quillington's death to pursue solo careers or, in Matt Robert's case, peace of mind. Infinite released four albums over the course of their career; Blue Nebula, Midnight Skies, Insomnia, and Dancing about Architecture.)

Eric Quillington (Deceased) - Lead Vocals, Lead Guitar, Piano, Primary Lyricist
Matt Roberts - Bass
Greg Oldson - Drums, Backup Vocals, Secondary Lyricist
Amelia Florentine - Keyboards, Piano, Lyricist, Backup Vocals

"When asked 'how do you write?' I invariably answer, 'one word at a time', and this answer is invariably dismissed. But that's all it is. It sounds too simple to be true, but consider the Great Wall of China, if you will: one stone at a time, man. That's all. One stone at a time. But I've read you can see that motherfucker from space without a telescope."

Robin Krieger: That means so much. The album was planned for August this year but it was delayed so often because he was obsessed with making everything he did the best he possibly could and we worked on this further from August to September. It's fantastic that we got to finish recording it completely and the version that we release will be the version created when Max was around, there's no tampering with things it's raw and hopefully best representative of Max not only as a frontman but as a songwriter and giften musician. More details will be released very soon including artwork and a release date.
