About Salt Coast Riddim in their own words

Salt Coast Riddim started as a beach bonfire jam that never quite ended. Based in Galle, they fold reggae's slow roll into Sri Lankan rhythms nobody's bothered naming yet. Nimal's guitar sounds like low tide; Dilki's percussion sounds like a storm deciding whether to happen. They rehearse barefoot, refuse to rush a groove, and once played a four-hour set because the crowd wouldn't let them stop. They love to invite guest musicians to every show.
